A brief film about older women with a passion for life. True passion.
I discovered this video on http://www.timegoesby.net/>Ronnie
Bennett’s
superlative blog this Saturday, and was only able to spend
a moment with it. Later in the day, I
was able to come back and view it whole and marvel at these women sharing their
lives.. “Bellebellification” made the
time to give us this marvelous gift of passion.
Perhaps all of us should view it regularly to remind us not
to wear beige. To remind us to keep
passion in our lives.
Always good advice, unless you're the mother of the groom. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I have visited this site before and these women inspire me the same way that Audubon society canoest at the age of 90! TP can stand for toilet paper or Tea Party...you choose.
ReplyDeleteWow! These women are such an inspiration! I'm going to look at my wardrobe and see what I could do.
ReplyDeleteNot to wear beige... lol.. I like that. ;)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! One of our main characters in our new show is Miss Beige. But don't let her color choice fool you! LOL!
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show ya. I am not much for "fashion," but I have been saying for years that vanity is a survival trait.
ReplyDeleteI love this!!!! I do most of my shopping in resale shops. And never, ever beige!!!!
ReplyDeleteWatched the Fashionistas also. Loved their spirit. Not much into beige, and love resale shops.
ReplyDeleteHave just indulged in this whole video; lovely! Such impressive women!
ReplyDeleteI just loved these ladies, even the Baronessa. But I must confess that I own two pair of Khaki pants.
ReplyDeleteWatched, loved. Inspired.
ReplyDeleteI looked at a book about this wildly fashionable women. They are inspiring for sure. I only wish I had their flair.
ReplyDeleteI just watched three minutes of it and feel that I'd like to see the entire piece.
ReplyDeleteI like to wear whatever. My fashionista days are mostly over.
ReplyDeleteI have been too long away, occupied with the tooth saga, distracted and the eunni you speak of causing me to be uninterested in most everything. I'm back, I send you hugs and love...
ReplyDeleteMy most important requirement in clothing is comfort! I'd be in real trouble if I had to get dressed up for something!
ReplyDeleteThank you for that video; such fabulous individuals always saying YES to life.

ReplyDeleteCan't see the video - apparently copyright problems in this country and I missed the TV programme but my DIL saw it and was very impressed.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the mantra - comfort is all.
