Tomorrow’s December, imagine that.
Soon Santa will climb down the chimney
late in the night.
Some children will have
dreams filled, some dreams taken.
Some will have dreams returned.
Imagine that.
Life is Really in the
Footnotes:
He had a wonderful day off spent shopping. He got caught at Frye’s just as their
computer system crashed, and he stayed in line forever. It made him a happy man as he bought himself his
birthday present. He helped our
neighbor, paid half a year’s rent for the Friday meeting space, and laughed with me
over RED2. Lots of fun. Today to the travel agent to plan our trip
through the Panama Canal. He’s been
doing lots of research.
Herself: Lots and lots of donations at the
store. Christmas things yesterday, and
no G when I got home. Puttered, meeting,
and movie which was truly delightful.
Reading: Just finished DE Stevenson’s “Amberwell.”
Balance: Finishing the tree….maybe. LOL
Good thinking...Christmas is complicated like much of life. Our tree will not go up until the middle of this week. Heading up for more babysitting today!
ReplyDeleteRed 2 was fun. We will watch it again.
ReplyDeleteI love your trees. Got to start reading again. Have been "off" or a while. Too many books. too little time. Dianne

ReplyDeleteThe sun has already risen here on a warm 1 December. Happy people month! You've inspired me to put "get out Christmas tree" on my to-do list for today.
ReplyDeleteThe computers at Fry's fried? ;)
ReplyDeleteJust read a book called "The Last 100 Days," by Patrick McGuinness a fictionalized personal account of the fall Ceausescu regime in 1989. Picked it up by mistake but found it really compelling.
ReplyDeleteAh, December, here we are.
December really sneaked... JUMPED up on me. It's really caught me a little unprepared. I need to get myself organized!
ReplyDeleteAnd Mage... I love your poem.
