Almost home. Our bags
were packed last night, and we have finished the long wait to get off the ship
and down the gangway. After we gather
ourselves together, we will meet up with Bobbie at the Long Beach Museum of Art
for lunch and head home in our rented car.
I’ve recorded the ship stem to stern on disc. The pictures are saved. New friends made. Yes, I’m pooped, and after I ease back into
life I’ll post albums hither and yon. I
want to see the pictures too.
Welcome home.
ReplyDeleteNow is the time for decompression. Be patient as you adjust to re-entry to the gravity of home.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing them all. Amazing how quickly vacation time passes.. even for someone else. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had a good time and am waiting to hear all about it. You take good pictures. 8-)
ReplyDeleteWelcome home. Enjoying your pix so far !
ReplyDeleteA weeklong Caribbean cruise was the only vacation that I came home NOT pooped. And that was only because my husband had a lingering bronchial something that had not cleared up before the departure. We would eat, walk around a bit in a port of call, come back to the ship, pump him full of meds again.
ReplyDeleteHe would sleep. I would raid the ships library and read, read, read on deck or piled up in bed beside hubby. Gained weight but loved every minute of that cruise.
Bravo on your watching the intake.
I'm so glad you made it home safe and sound too. Your photos are so colorful and beautifully taken. I know what it takes to record these trips. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view of the museum and restaurant! Looks like a place to treat oneself to good food and atmosphere.
