· Almost an hour at the doctor’s office this morning. Questioned deeply by a delightful new Nurse
Practitioner. Every day I seem to feel a
bit more energetic tho my ear, and several sinus’s still hate me. My brain remains numb. Mostly my brain is working again, but I couldn’t
explain how I faded away to the doc. I’m
less energetic after I get the bill at the pharmacy. I remain a shaky driver which is better than a
no-driver yesterday.
·
· Comic Con stuff has begun arriving in the mail. Some new way of registering for the returning
masses. I’ll volunteer again four out of
the five days. It’s nice to feel I can
give back.
·
· Fall is here for a few days. Glorious comfortable days under seventy
degrees, and at night the air at the coast has been in the fifties. Here’s a temperatue
conversion calculator to amuse you.
·
· Business meeting for the next Spring Round Up…convention. I’m backup to a backup on the printing
committee. The first flyer is out. Looks fine to me. It probably isn’t as one of my people never
got their info to me. I probably won’t be so cest la vie once the antibiotics
take over.
·
· George has the bug too. He’s working an extra hour a day every day
this week. I bring him dinner about the
regular dinner time, and he seems grateful.
I hover but say nothing.
·
· Entertainment:
A sci fi book that isn’t bad.
Finished a novel by a fellow blogger, and now am moving on to three new
books by Mayor. I am very grateful that
I keep discovering new authors. Longmire
books and TV. Glorious stuff picked up
for another season. Bull, NCIS – all three
of them. There’s little time for more.
It is wonderful you are feeling well enough to be so busy. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteYes, that Comic Con email was much ado about nada. LOL
ReplyDeleteGosh he looks a bit 'scary'. Don't think I'd like to meet him in a dark alley lol
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know you have a watchful medical practice and someone who listens to your troubles. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of what ails you
And good on you for looking to the fiture and planning fun times
Anyone can get a bug and it seems you have good medical back up. Don't overdo it and get back on track soon.
ReplyDeleteHang on to that nice weather. We are in the 60s here.
ReplyDeleteI remember how I could work through colds including work and dinner at night. Now I can barely concentrate on TV! Aging is not a kink process.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking this is really a nasty sinus infection.
DeleteLooking for a quiet night at home. YAY!
ReplyDeleteLOL Is there such a thing.
