We puttered away the
morning and accomplished little. It was
really nice. Before noon, it was out to breakfast, an
omelet for G and one pancake for me, then off he went to work. While he worked at the museum, I put
ornaments on the tree. It’s looking
really nice now, and only these 1950’s teardrops remain to go on.
The rain, yes actual rain
began just as I was washing the dust off me between bouts of ball hanging. Wind whipping by the windows with a roar,
black skies, and the hiss of rain….glorious stuff. Then quiet just before G came home again.
It was a grand rain. I loved it!
ReplyDeleteWasn't that grand!
DeleteOOOOOO, another person who decorates in the colors I do! I love it!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Next year red. We rotate the colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of the decorations! That tree will be so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHow long has it been since rain. We have not had much for about 15 days...not unusual for fall here. You should have some protien with that pancake: yogurt, egg, meat? Are you getting irritated with my mom role, yet?
ReplyDeleteLOL Not at all. Yogurt for Breakfast, my pancake for lunch, and a cheese stick or two mid afternoon. All protein for dinner.
DeleteHave yourself a ball.
ReplyDeleteOf the perks of buying books for Christmas is getting to read them first.
