My Windows 7 operating
system collapsed the other morning.
After an all morning struggle, G discovered that he had initially entered
a wrong number in the registration. (Boy,
it sure did take forever for Windows to notice this.) Having a black screen instead of the blue
screen of death is infinitely more exciting than you could imagine.
I wanted something homey
for the picture on my new home page. I
found this shot but taken on a grey ugly day.
At least I wrote down the instructions for changing the picture. Now I get to hunt through the archives for
this picture instead.
This is the Sunset Cliffs
looking over the Pacific Ocean. That’s
Bird S**t Rock. On summer evenings great
crowds walk down to the cliffs and wait for the sunset. Yes, there is a green flash. I have seen it. A very delightful way to spend the evening too.
As you can probably imagine, The Promise is a big hit in Fresno, home to the Armenians. I cannot see it or any genocide type film or story. A friend of mine left The Promise, before it was over, sobbing. Uh huh. That would be me. I cannot handle it.
ReplyDeleteI cried my eyes out, and at the end some one said that the Turks have never admitted to what they had done. I cannot handle it either.
DeleteIt looks like a great spot for a sunset.
ReplyDeletenot sure the new movie theater was worth the price of admission.
ReplyDeleteNot.
DeleteSunset and bird watching. Sounds perfect! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious spring you are having. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling stronger.
ReplyDeleteUsed to see those green flashes when we lived in Hawaii. Never seen one in WW, maybe I'm not trying hard enough :-). Last I heard they were banning this film in Turkey. Not sure I could watch it either.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling stronger........nuts on the computer issues.
ReplyDeleteI have Windows 10 right now and it's been OK. So far....
