THANK YOU'S AND GRATITUDES

Front door in 2004.

I’m playing housewife today.  Washing the sheets, buying a few groceries, and most important, saying thank you often as I move about my day.

The house is tidy.  You can even see the top of my drawing board.  The dishes are done…or were last night.  I’m tidy though I didn’t get in the pool today as the pool heater was broken.  The house is decorated and presents wrapped.  What more could one want.

Just to say thank you.  Thank you for that inner peace I have found.  Thank you for the man who came to dinner…George.  Thank you for my children that treat me kindly after I gave them a horrible childhood.  Thank you for our friends.  And thank you for the beauty around us.

  • Himself:  Putting off knee surgery until Medicare and an Advantage plan.  One year.
  • https://www.facebook.com/>Herself:>   The earth made that circle one more time, and about when I finish writing this entry, it will be Winter Solstice time.  The shortest day.
  • Reading:  Just finished another Robin McKinley young adult…just charming.
  • Captain Poolie:  They are talking surgery.
  • Gratitude’s:  For this second life I have been given.

  7. It is all about forgiveness and looking onward. Our issues, here, continue, but we are distant and do not have to absorb them daily. I learn all from My DIL's voice on the phone as to whether it is a good day or a bad day. I decorated a little and am glad I did. Maybe next year I will go all out once again. Lots of votives are my favorite part of the decorations.
