The sun took it’s time coming out, but we heard there was a mermaid on BS
Rock. Down we went to take pictures, and
we heard that a family from Arizona put her up there. What fun.
Then we ran errands and ate out…a delightful luxury allowed only because we
eat on the Senior Menu. By four, we were
dressed and ready to go to the ball park.
Look at the glorious
colors, and wonderful enthusiasms too.
One kid in front of us had never been to a real game, and he was having
so much fun a Guest Service rep had to walk down and talk with him. Our group agreed the kid would have one heck
of a hangover in the morning.
- Himself: We all had lots of fun everywhere yesterday. Not only were we surrounded by a group of G’s friends, the Team won wonderfully. Today Pam, Poolie’s friend visited. Simply delightful to see her.
- Herself: Had a ball, had great food, and got caught up in the drama of it all. Plus: A Hodad’s cheese burger and M&M’s. Delightful Pam visit.
- Reading: Leaphorn and Chee at their best.
- Watching: Alaska State Troopers.
- Gratitudes: For the sunshine and wonderful colors: The green of the grass, the blue of the sky. For the delightful company at the ball park. Pam’s visit. The power of tree colors today.
Not often you get a photo shoot with a mermaid
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a game in 25 years, but that's what they were. Color and noise and cheering. Laura went to a AAA game or our locals, the Rubber Ducks. Then her group camped out overnight on the outfield. A player autographed her hand and she ate her allowance in ice cream.
ReplyDeleteIt looks rather fishy to me. haha
ReplyDeleteSo much to be thankful for Mage. What a fun time by the sound of it!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this on FB I thought she was real!! Does BS rock meant what I think it means?
