It’s almost time for Comic
Con again. Time for the magic, the whimsy,
the wild imaginations to flow. Time for
artists to come out of the woodwork, for writers new and old to don costumes
and join the young dancing in the streets.
Time too for the hawkers to sell anything and everything to the collector
and gullible alike.
Time for the two of us to
sign up to volunteer, to charge up all our batteries, to rent scooters, and time
to tune up our costumes. It’s going to
be fun.

· Himself: Leg much better with both compression
stocking and knee wrap.
· Herself: I swim and come home to doze. That’s not functional. Wig needs work.
· Reading: Still Hillerman tho I have one or two other’s
waiting now.
· Bird Feeding: George has found rat droppings and I watched
a neighbor’s cat who was watching the feeder avidly. We need another solution for placement.
· Watching: Saw “Monuments Men” again and it was great.
· Gratitudes: Sunshine, warm water, the green of the trees.
That was a quick year.
ReplyDeleteSame thing here with Celtfest coming up soon. It seems quicker each year.
I always enjoy your coverage of Comic Con Mage.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your Comic Con visit. I loved "Monuments Men."
ReplyDeleteGlad you’re enjoying Hillerman. I got into reading many of his books some years ago. You’ll be busy readying for ComicCon.
