Two days a week, I work three hour turns in a
basement. Yes, I am having a grand
time. No the dust isn’t getting to
me. I take enough allergy meds to sink a
horse. There are two rooms. This basement is one, and the other is an old
garage area as the entrance.

Unfortunately, I confused one of the ladies
yesterday. It isn’t help when you end up
confused. I apologized then but will say
more tomorrow.

My Childhood friend, DA, has called several times this
week. I know her son dials for her as I
can hear him talking in the background.
How glorious to hear her voice just as it always has been. How really sad she has dementia, but it is
wonderful that her son and his wife are there to take care of her.

Himself: He started work at 0530 this morning so he
can get off work early for his preop.
There’s a lot of stuff he doesn’t know…I shall let the doc tell him what
he can’t do. LOL
·
Myself: Book sale coming up on the 3rd
Saturday. The old Boss said she wasn’t
selling cookbooks any more. I’m told,
that they suddenly have reappeared.

I’m pleased and not pleased about the election
results. Too many Trump supporters were
elected. The yelling and negativity will
continue. I shake my head sadly.

Working on a new area of my past. Writing it out. I certainly did have a checkered life and am
very embarrassed by myself today. You
could say that I have a pretty boring life these days.
My past life is even more boring than my current, so there are two sides to every coin. But your survived yourself! The election was not a joy. I still have trouble thinking that Americans say "telling it like it is" is lying with the finesse of a 5th grader.
ReplyDeleteYou got it.
DeleteIt was interesting to watch the results from the US. So many of the races were close. Nail biters for both sides.
ReplyDeleteI am disappointed that the results were not better.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the returns hoping to be pleasantly surprised in the morning. Sigh. Excited to see the house results though and all the wonderful fresh faces of the women who ran and won.
ReplyDeleteIt was a mixed bag wasn't it? Still we at least have some braking power.
ReplyDeleteI have some hope both with myself and with the house. LOL
