JOURNAL VISITORS

From Volume 12.

I don’t write much anymore, but I used to. I have acres of hand-printed journal entries to prove it.  Several of my friends used to come over, perhaps on the weekend, and read through the weeks happening.  Often nothing happened, but they came anyway.

Many of you visit, and I want to thank you.  Lately, though I have had only 35 to 45 people stop in each day.  Eight to nine notes have dwindled to three to four.  I know it is selfish of me to want each of you who stops by to leave me a note.

Just saying.

  1. I used to write like crazy too Mage and draw. Pen and ink was my forte. Sending you a hug.

  2. Although I love to leave comments, the blogger blogs make it so hard. I have to jump through hoops to leave a note. Lots of times I write a note only to have it disappear as I go through the steps to get it posted.

  3. Thank you for being here, dear Mage. Sometimes you leave me exhausted with your adventures, but I generally can keep up to the bottom, and leave a note behind. Good night, sleep tight.

  4. My life has gotten so busy that often I don't even have time to READ blogs, let alone reply :-(

  5. I echo Dk - I realise it's our choice where we blog but yes unless I use an old account, blogger makes me jump hoops as well.
You sound a little weary Mage - hopefully when all your aches and pains move on you'll see life more cheerily. Hoping SD is as sunny and cheery as when we last visited

  9. I used to post on my blog everyday.
Now I'm lucky if I remember to post once a week.

  10. I feel the same way about getting comments. But I, too, had trouble leaving comments for you.

  11. I guess I'm selfish too; maybe that's the reason I haven't posted anything in eight months. I read your blog but don't leave comments. I feel like no one is interested in my lifestyle as a farmer.

  12. Ah well...the weather is changing and people are spending more time outside instead of at their computers. Happens every year around this time..things pick up again in fall, slow down around Christmas, pick up again in the New Year...it's a cycle. Don't take it personally.By dthe way, what is a Tommy Bahama????

  13. I'm not much of a commenter, but I read everything you post. I'm in awe of your artistic talent (I can't draw a straight line with a ruler...), but I also appreciate your honesty and viewpoint on things. I would miss you a great deal were you to stop writing!

  15. Hi Mage! Sorry I've been away so long with the traveling and then working on the books for my mother and caring for her when she got sick. Sigh... I sure hope you're back to normal soon healthwise.
