There’s lots of fuss everywhere this year. Perhaps more than usual. I’m doing the laundry, and G is working. Such normal sort of stuff when many of us are
celebrating holiday. CBS gave us a
beautiful show on Veterans. Flags and
parades everywhere. Did I tell you that
I flat out love parades.
Yes, I’m doing me things this week. Toe nails.
I whipped myself over there on my scooter, and I had them done in a nice
burned red. I bought two new
backpacks. Yes, not leather but
pleather. My first ones arrived. The first arrived. I love it…lots of zippered pockets. I had a muffin for breakfast. Oh Heaven.

Glad you are doing things for yourself. Enjoy a nice pedicure!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of the person/people who plant those flags, so that we who look can see and feel the sense of awe in the moment.
ReplyDeleteFlags on the graves of vets here too.
ReplyDeleteI love a good parade too.
We put a rose on the grave of a soldier at Normandy grave yard and I will never forget that.
ReplyDeleteBet that pedi felt good. Our ceremonies will probably take a hit today. It is raining and cold. Such a shame. The town was adorn with flags but no people.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of your beautiful red toes. And what a coincidence! I'm looking for a rolling backpack that's small enough to fit under an airplane seat.
