Here they are just days after we bought them. 1960’s, and very like the ones on the QE2
when she first sailed.
Here they all are in use. We have had lunch and dinner here. We have also set it with a quite confusing jigsaw puzzle. Yes, we all like it.

ReplyDeleteThe table came from IKEA, and the chairs from somewhere inexpensive online.
DeleteI've seen this set before at a very wealthy woman's home. Those chairs are HEAVY! But so very comfortable! Very, very nice and just perfect for your dining area. Congratulations!! And I notice the seats are blue! Good job there! I remember how you use blue at Christmas--so will your tree be blue this year??
ReplyDeleteWell, now you have seen them in a poor woman's home. IKEA for the table, and eBay out of Ontario for the not really heavy chairs.
DeleteThey aren't blue or heavy, but they are comfortable.
