I look at the appointment book and see that Saturday and Sunday are empty. I like that. I should be quilting, but my get up and go has gone. There are no appointments calling. Imagine. There’s about one thing a week upcoming, and long quiet days between each. I wait for the oncologist to call too. I read and am happy tho losing muscle tone rapidly. My soul is content with these quiet days. I cherish them with little guilt.

ReplyDeleteThat is a foggy, grey day.
ReplyDeleteIt really was. A bit like that today too.
DeleteKnow what you mean. Those blank days on my calendar are such a relief. I can remember when seeing blank days on the calendar was sad, now it feels good. Do miss that muscle tone though.
ReplyDeleteI think your mind is clear on a foggy day.
ReplyDeleteI will always love the fog and my favorite poem by Frost has not been replaced. Photo is mysterious. Do you have light hand weights or leg weights or canned goods that you can improve muscle tone in a chair? Do not give up, be patient with yourself! I do love a blank calendar!
ReplyDeleteI have one of each....not a pair of anything. Darn it.
DeleteI spent the past week working on mask making. I know it's totally unnecessary since everybody has masks already, but it was just something to keep me busy. Art has his puzzles, I have my mask projects. I plan to give them away to essential workers who are being extra nice. I just gave one to our Terminix guy. It felt good. But today, finally, I can relax and visit blogs again. This coming week will be organizing our family photos for another couple of photobooks. It's good to keep busy, but it's nice to just relax too.
ReplyDeleteYes, keeping a balance is what it is all about. I'm a little out of balance. Yes, masks are wonderful things. I have two that are double fabric and have a pocket inside. That gives me 4 layers. The CDC is slaying with the virus mutations, that five layers are good.
DeleteFIVE? Oh my gosh! I thought it was good enough with a paper surgical and a double layer of cloth.
DeleteI love that photo! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove the fog and the image it creates. Great shot!
