Today was a new, to us, Derm Doc. She was very nice and froze lots of benign cancers on my face and took off one cyst. The stuff on the top of my head was benign too. It’s nice not to worry about them.
Small bits
from the day:
I’ve taken to drinking my Diet Coke with ice cubits.
George dropped my glasses while the new doc was freezing my
face.
Yes, they broke in the same place as last
time.
Found four new kinds of cottage cheese at Peoples market down
the hill.
I grow intolerant
to the bacteria they use.
Glazed
chicken with a cottage cheese and avocado salad for dinner.
The doctor’s office had clean air machines, and I didn’t cough
once.
I wore a white sweater today, and I dribbled lunch all down
it.
The CDC will approve the second Pfizer booster,
Moderna
booster will be approved two weeks later.
What I really want to do is take a train ride.
These boosters are a way of life now, especially for us elderly or immune compromised.
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd book a train ride for some grandgirls and me a couple of years ago. Far more expensive than I anticipated.
ReplyDeleteIf my dire coke can have little bits of ice because it is that cold, that’s the wayI like it. I am talking about the ice forming naturally in the can.
ReplyDeleteA train ride would be wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'd love a nice, soothing train ride! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteHum, maybe I should think about a clean air machine. Wouldn't hurt and it really seems to help you. I have always wanted to travel overnight in a railroad sleeping car. The sleeping must be amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhite is a color a very rarely wear mostly because I'm a get down and dirty kind of gal but really because I only have one white blouse and it's a little fancy.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been on a train since I was about 10. I think I'd like to travel by train too.
Your trains look amazing. Ours are drab and old-fashioned in comparison. But one thing about them is wonderful - when we reach 60 we have FREE travel (Buses and Trains) all over Northern Ireland and at age 65 that extends to the entire island of Ireland. It makes a day out a very inexpensive treat.
ReplyDeleteAll aboard, the 464 will take you where you wish to go! :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder when they'll approve that 2nd booster. We have a trip planned and I'd really like to get it.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to take a train ride.
