ERRANDS

We had a most comfortably easy free day off yesterday. Errands….we picked up a new sink drain-thing at Home Dummpo. We toodled around Tar-jay till the battery died in their scooter and still managed to spend too much money. He went in to the grocery store next door too. Today was a little chillier, but we did the noon post hospital visit to my main Doctor. Taking ALL the meds with us…two bags full. She very obligingly deleted about ten of the meds leaving me one and adding one stressing how important it was to not have another stroke. Lunch by the bay in a well hidden parking area. Of course I didn’t remember to bring a camera, but we had a delightful hour in the sunshine. Twice I walked to the truck using the walker during the day. That felt heroic. Now I wait for the next appointment, PT.

  4. Must be great dumping so many pills. Amen. I have had the thought of store scooters running out of power. Hope they brought you a replacement.

    1. They all have a release lever. George poked that and pushed me to the exit.

  5. That's great your meds got cut down. I have a friend who takes a lot of meds and she has reactions with some of the combinations. Have a wonderful weekend.

  6. I'm sure glad you got to reduce some of your pills. And I'm glad you're feeling better, Mage.

  8. I took almost all of my meds in with me yesterday. I have to laugh -- now they are carried in a Walmart shopping bag!! LOL I laugh at my years of grumbling when I only had one or two medications to take each day. Little did I know... So good that you are able to reduce the number of meds you take. I hate to think what my meds are doing to my body--even as they help me, I have no doubt they're hurting me somewhere.
