Here I am getting my daily IV Antibiotic infusion for the infection in my port: VANCOMYCIN SODIUM CHLORIDE. Everyone needs a blood infection to keep them amused. A week long debate on keeping the port or having it taken out is also something every grandma needs. The Grandma in me laughs at the roundness in my face from the steroids, but appreciates the old quilt and new book.
Everyday has been a busy day since getting home. Yesterday G spent the day first with his thumb getting a cortisone shot then with the phone trying to line up a portable O2 machine. Yesterday I was put back in the PT system. Today my goal was to shower while keeping my port dry. Today he dodged around my crowds and got a prescription for one while I was being OT'd back in.
Tomorrow is a visit to the Cancer guy for a blood draw then Primary Care. I can tell them both that the strange hallucinations have vanished.
We are also lined up to have lunch with Bobbie who says she isn’t going back to Venice.
Good grief, between doctors and treatments you two certainly are kept hopping. You do look comfortable in that bed and I hope it is a really good book. Keep taking good care.
ReplyDeleteYay for books during treatment. Take care my friend!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the infection. Looks like you had fun at Disney, though!
ReplyDeleteYou do look pretty comfy there.
ReplyDeleteI liked your remark about the quilt. I spotted it before I even began reading, and took in the quilting pattern. How old and seer and lovely it is.
ReplyDeleteJust keep goin' and goin' -- glad you can muster the energy.
