Lessa created a truly lovely setting for a warm and
welcoming gathering. Her neighbor, who
has had strokes, joined us. The food was
great. The granddaughter cranky…tho they
all insist that she does this only when we visit. Perhaps we ought to visit more, was my
thought.
I tell ya, she created beauty, and we knew we were loved. The turkey was good too.
- Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts and donating where it will count.
very nice table! Great you all had a satisfying celebration.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Lovely setting!
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean about a cranky granddaughter. I have a sullen niece. Yet, if you listen to my other family members, she is only so with us. It's a hard cycle to break.

ReplyDeleteSorry, forgot to say Happy Thanksgiving on comment above, and the sign in is my daughter's, by mistake. Hope you do manage to see Skyfall.
ReplyDeleteAdorable granddaughter even if perhaps out of sorts and Lessa set a lovely table. That is a fabulous looking turkey!
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughters were SOOOO noisy. They had not seen each other in months and the all talked at the same time in VERY LOUD voices.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter was angry with her husband. She asked him to trim his beard so he would look presentable for a Christmas party at her school and he whacked it off with a pair of sheers. I laughed so hard I wet my pants.
Came home to recooperate. Dianne
