“Your
estimated wait time is less than three minutes.”
I
call for the last appointments this morning.
Some negative note is attached to one, but I still get the MRI scheduled. The other heart appointment may generate more
appointments in the way of tests. One
never knows what’s going to happen, but we cannot schedule surgery until
everything is settled.
While
I wait for the confusions to subside, Our Bank calls. Perhaps it is the home equity loan G applied
for. If it is, we can window shop for a
motor home while starting packing. We
call the bank several times and can’t reach the man. Nope, it appears that things aren’t totally
unfrozen with Equifax and Experian.
Sometimes the branch man’s struggles with the copier has confused the
issue.
Everything
is on hold.

I truly appreciate all the cards and letters from old and new friends. George for his caring. Margot, Zoe, Laka for the phone calls. And too, all the wonderful notes.
So wonderful to see you here. Huggers to you and to G. What sort of motorhome will you look for?
ReplyDeleteNo, you are not alone.
ReplyDeleteAlmost there. That sketch is one of my favorites as it truly capture you placing one foot in front of the other and facing bravely and with optimism what is ahead!
ReplyDeleteHurry up and wait....
