WINDOWS 10 AND OTHER ANOYANCES

This semi new program leaves me wanting to pull my hair out. New to me anyway. G has an older version of Windows 10, and it doesn’t seem to have the quirks mine does.

· I typed a nice letter to the MVP, (the Million Veteran Program), Saved it, and went back to add to it later. Win10 saved only the title. I was really upset.
· Here in Word, it wants me to set the preferences each time I use it. We think not.
· I’m always having too call poor G over to help me with another problems Win10 has handed me.

Other errors:

· I sewed together two parts of a mask…all wrong. YouTube to the rescue.
· It was Zoe’s birthday and she was sweet 16. Missing a granddaughters birthday is a great failure. We will have to find a super way to celebrate this after the next lockdown.
· Himself: He’s been watching old TV shows on YouTube. He’s also doing the laundry and cooking dinner.
· Myself: Reading more. Going out with G when he goes to the store but not going in.
· Reading: The new Castillo. Half done.
· Photo: Zoe at 15.
Gratitude’s: For the beautiful days we are having.

  1. Happy sixteenth to your sweet girl! It’s sad when you have to miss their birthdays. You’ll get to make up for it!

  2. Happy Birthday Zoe. Make the delay in celebration worth it.
Feel for you with Windows 10. I tried it back when it was free and went back to 7. Happy with that.

    1. There's no support for 7 anymore. I too would have preferred to stay with 7, but all the other computers in the house are 10. Darn it.

  4. This is odd. I have never had any difficulty with WIN10. Fingers crossed.
I hope you get it sorted and working smoothly.

  6. Be patient with learning. I find the new blogger interface acceptable...EXCEPT they changed it again this month and I cannot find the html interface if I screw up on font sizes. etc. Oh well, it is what it is. Please do not stop writing and give Zoe a virtual 16 hug. Her hair is so lovely.
