BIDEN

I begin to feel some form of hope as Biden takes his place as President Elect.  No one has heard from President Trump yet, and I gather he is out on the golf course this morning.  Yes, Biden golfs too, but there aren’t any other direct comparisons.

I hope that many of the Trump supporters feel now is a good time for honesty.  Nancy Pelosi reminds us that Biden was, “elected a unifier who values faith, family and community, and who will work tirelessly to heal our nation.”  Everyone but Trump and his staunchest supporters are congratulating Biden. Instead Trump will be taking this election to court.

Feeding seniors:  In other parts of our state, my friend Katy writes that they qualify for, “senior vegie boxes through a coronavirus/FEMA/whatever/low income program…every Tuesday all summer long a big waxed produce box was available for pick-up at our community hall…herbs, fresh fruit, lettuce, potato, tomato. Squash, eggplant, chard, kale, cucumbers, peppers, radishes, onion, garlic, broccoli, wheat berries and wheat flour grown in Mendocino County, organic tortillas. (Lots of organic stuff)It’s been amazing.”  On the coast, “Local restaurants have a senior free dinner program on the coast, and it’s keeping them from going under.”

  3. baby boomers are going to get abused and treated like garbage in the retirement homes. Thanks to Trump pissing off every group of people, literally everyone hates baby boomers now. Maybe you boomers shouldn't have been so selfish and ruined your children's future with your short-sighted greed. Enjoy those retirement homes, and good luck, boomers!

  4. Trump spent his 300th day on a golf course at one of his properties on Saturday. he has spent nearly 1 full year out of his 4 playing golf, raiding the national treasury.

it remains to be seen what the republican party will become now, if they will continue with the obstruction they implemented in 2008 or if they will become a relevant partner in the governing of this country.

  5. Is it true that the Republicans are planning to take away the ACA when Americans who need it are most in need right now? They want to get it done before Trump leaves office. That would be so evil. Then again, look what else they've done.
