A VISIT

It’s a lovely day.  Bobbie and Geoff were a little late so I was able to stay in my warm bed with a book until the last minute.  Yes, it was glorious to be silly.  I’ve been giving myself permission to just be as relaxed as possible these days.  One side effect is a mess that follows me around.  Nothing ever get’s all put away either.

They arrived bearing wonderful gifts and full of Paris.  He was fully vaccinated when he came down with Covid, so he had a very light case.  They relaxed and enjoyed Paris until he tested negative.  Everyone was supportive, and getting home was easy but 27 hours in the air.

After a delightful Vegan meal and hours of talk, they are off north to bake cookies.  G’s up in the Park, and you can find me dozing over this letter.

  1. It is good to hear of a easy bout of Covid, if one has it have it that is…

  2. Glad to read that the Covid bout wasn't too bad. Hearing about some cases that fully vaccinated people are coming down with Covid but aren't very sick or dying. It's still better to be fully vaccinated. Nice that you had a wonderful visit with your friends.

  3. Thank goodness he had a light case of COVID. I worry about our overseas trip that was postponed twice and is now supposed to take place in May. I'm feeling pretty unconfident.

  4. I enjoy all the Christmas decoration photos. Glad you could have a good visit with your friends. Inlaws of my son had mild Covid symptoms, too, but had been vaccinated.

  5. So glad that you were able to have a wonderful and safe visit. Anymore that can be a challenge. The mild case does speak volumes for vaccination.
