Appointments galore. Carpet cleaning and blood draws. Pt and OT. Ct scans and nurse visits. I’d laugh if the appointment book wasn’t filling up so fast. George ha appointments too. He has his doctor’s appointment that includes dilation. He has his doubts about my left leg lifting. “Not my left leg,’ I tell him. Margot will be bringing him home.
Exercises galore too. Boy, I am going to be healthy despite myself.
Food too. We fled the house on Sunday to leave the housekeeper room to move the dust around. He had a breakfast burrito, and I had scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, and a pile of sliced tomatoes by the bay. There were Sous Vide pork chops that melted in our mouths too. Pizza….frozen, I admit, but it was good. Chicken salad, and even jello, and best of all ice cream. Oh, the luxury of it all.
The older we get the more our dance card gets full with Dr.appointments. So glad Margot will be helping you with George.
ReplyDeleteThis was interesting. Quite often I will be forming a comment on another's blog when their comment on mine posts. Yours just came in. Thanks for seconding UNICEF.
That's the best solution.
DeleteYoga tonight. It's cold, overcast, and windy and I don't want to go. But I will. My PT.
ReplyDeleteThe meals sound comforting! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI would be happy to be eating that.
ReplyDeleteYum. We have the best best breakfast burritos here. I'd like one for dinner. Delighted you are up and around.
ReplyDeleteWe have a ton of doctor type visits coming up next month. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteThat ocean looks COLD!!! I'm just wading back through your posts, trying to catch up. (doubt I ever will, but I try...)
ReplyDeleteBTW, do you have a pattern for that quilt? It looks sooo nice! I wouldn't mind having one for our bed.
