Little things make up our days right now. Small peaceful stuff. Yesterday I went with G to the grocery
store. I stayed in the truck while he went
in to deposit the money from selling Myrtle.
A nice young Navy couple bought her, and arrived in a similar vintage
but totally worn-out looking Toyota. I
had a wonderful time watching people.
From there we went to the new mechanics and gave them a hefty deposit on
the RAV4
Little things: G made me a Virgin Mary to go with lunch yesterday that almost took the top of my head off…using V8. I’ll have another one today but using less Tabasco. The Para Olympics have started. My hands are shaking so much that half my time writing is spent correcting myself. Ah well. Small realities.
A PT Lady came yesterday.
Said if I did all the exercises she gave me, I should be able to get upstairs
soon. I have my eye appointment today to
get a prescription for my new left lens.
Very exciting stuff for me as I have been wearing my eyes out since the
surgery. Derm doc. Another exciting one. Most exciting is the med review with my main
doc. Oh it will be nice to get it all
done with.

Not easy visit after all. Noon till 3. There was one suture still in the left eye, and the right was seeing double. The good news is that I can now see 20/20. Most of the time I will still wear my glasses. Astigmatism that be me.
Good luck with all your appointments but at least they will get done and you'll feel relieved. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeletePeople watching is something I enjoy too. I like waiting in the car when my husband goes in the store and it will be so much more enjoyable when the weather warms up a bit.
ReplyDeleteI'll race you to the end of all these medical appointments!
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteGlad you got your eyes done. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteBut 20/20 vision. That sounds amazing! I have a colonoscopy in April. Arrrghhh!
ReplyDeleteIt’s nice to see that you are getting out a bit. Hopefully, the exercises will pay dividends.
ReplyDeleteLove your PT's prognosis and 2020 vision--amazing. Many things to be grateful for.Keep those baby steps going.
ReplyDeleteI wish you only the best! My prayers are for you.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to get all the med appts done at once but oh so tiring as well. Keep your now excellent eye on the prize. Do your PT.
ReplyDeleteI hear you on that astigmatism--that's my primary problem, and always has been. When I had my cataract surgery (the first time) the dr. said, "We can't fix your astigmatism so you'll still have to wear glasses, but your vision will be better." Glad for your 20-20!!
