TOO SALTY

I should post a picture or two of the finished Gus. And he is done. When the new tires went on, George wanted the steering rack and tie rod ends done. They were done late yesterday. The steering rack itself was leaking. It was a safety issue, G told me.

Dinner out to celebrate. He had liver and onions. I had half a sandwich with a salad. Yes, I ate every bit of the green stuff, but I couldn’t eat the half ham and cheese….too salty. All this happened just when the latest copy of Consumer Reports arrived which told us how bad the bacteria is in chicken and ground beef.

Antibiotic resistant, it told me.)

  2. Sounds like Gus is practically brand new in the front end at least. Should last a long time.

  4. It’s not yet 7:30am and you’ve got me hankering liver and onions.

  5. I quit eating turkey when a friend who also has afib told me that it triggers her episodes due to some chemical in it. I still have mild episodes when my stress levels are up but seems better for the most part. When I spent those 3 weeks in Portugal, not one place we ate at had salt and pepper on the table. I got used to no salt pretty quick.
