SPEECHES AND COSTUMES

All the things we normally do in the hot summer days have now been cancelled or changed.  In the beginning, everything was cancelled.  Just this weekend, everything was changed.  You and I know that change is a normal thing.  Change via ZOOM is a 21st century thing.

Comic Con will be online this year.  We are going.  The World AA convention is already online.  We will be going.  The local Spring Round Up will be online a little late.  Late is better than never, and we will be going.  My new computer will render speeches and costumes clear as a bell.

Best of all, the new California safety rules will let me have my very unruly, now grey hair styled on Thursday.  All those restaurants and museums that just opened now have to close too.  I didn’t hear our Governor being chastised by anyone for opening our parking lots when told not to.

HURRAH !!!!!

Two lymph notes are slightly enlarged, but they are no different from those on the last CT scan results.  A bit of fibrosis and a bit of fluid too.  That’s it.  No cancer anywhere.  It was a very triumphant visit with Dr. Wong, the lung cancer specialist.

I’m tired, I’m cranky, and I’m a very happy person.

Queen Mary: SEcond Class Stairs bottom

At the bottom of the stairs, we opened a door. Much to our surprise, there sat a security guard. His white passage way, the bright sun outside, and the shock of seeing him there were in direct contrast to the dark stair tower that we had been sneaking down.
