I'M NOT DRIVING IT

Despite all the good words, intentions, and efforts of all the local car guys, I’m not driving it.

Yes, the gauge read complete discharge.  Yes, it started once.  Yes, it overheated the trickle charger.  Yes, AAA told us they were having troubles with this made for Chevy batteries. Yes, bot G and the AAA guy agreed that it was probably the alternator.  Yes, out long time mechanic told me, and showed me, that it was charging to manufacturers specs.  Yes, it’s still discharging.

No, I am not driving it until it is fixed, and I am not happy about it.

  • Himself:  Made an appointment about his torn meniscus.  Shopped for the BBQ that’s going to be held in the dark.
  • Herself:  Found a new author.  Showering an off to work.
  • Captain Poolie:  Meeting with her board today.
  • Gratitude’s:  That I’m perky today.

  1. Hope the truck is fixed soon, Mage. I can understand your hesitation to drive it!

  3. I wouldn't either, had enough of quirky vehicles problems to last me forever.

  4. Hey, fixed means fixed. Don't blame you for wanting to make sure it is.

  5. This is maddening. It wouldn't happen to a Honda. All these decades later, and the American companies still can't keep up. That's my take anyway, but I'm a bit grouchy this morning. Stomach aches will do that to a guy.

  6. Hold fast to your standards!! I have started the project of replacing the stove-top and the on-line process and already too tired.
