The monsoonal season that usually sweeps through Arizona, is coming up our
way first. Normally we have a
temperature of a comfortable 76f (24.4 c) here in Coastal California. Not this year. It was 98f (36.6c) when I left work
yesterday.
Yes, we dressed lightly and drove off to a baseball game with Field Level tickets
from his boss as thanks for all the work he has been doing. It was 82f (27.7c) when we got to the ball
park, and 78f (25.5c) when we left. A
light breeze off the ocean kept us smiling as we headed home.
Life is all about numbers lately.

- Himself: Started work really early so we could get to the ball park before the game. We had Phill’s BBQ for dinner. He has the best local BBQ.
- Myself: Got to work with books a second day this week. That made my day.My money man is moving to Texas, and I have doubts.
- Reading: A really interesting Juvenile that came into the shop.
- Gratitude’s: Books, friends, cool evening sunshine, and a day the roofers finished next door.
Such a lovely dramatic coastline. Mother Nature does not pull any punches and I remember concern my research scientist had for Climate Change over 3 decades ago!! I am afraid it is too late to stop it...maybe we can keep it from getting worse.
ReplyDeleteIt's progressing so very rapidly.
DeleteHope your money man doesn't move your money, too!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know what your interesting Juvenile was.
ReplyDeleteMakes a lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been hotter than usual on this side of the continent too Mage.
ReplyDeleteThis heat must be a bit of a shock to you as it is to all of us. Think we might have reached the tipping point.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting scarier.
