‘I’ve fallen back into the routines around here easily, comfortably. Each day I try to answer a note or two here, try
and read the Times and the Post, and try not to take a nap. Catching up with myself is also
important. Like getting my hair done….which
I think the man over charged G about.
“I want something new,” I told him, and that’s what I got. Straight in front and curly in the back.
Follow up doctor’s appointments have been made. Dear G is calling, cooking, and putting up
with me. And every day I get a bit
stronger. Yesterday I sat up all day, and
today I am trying it again. I’m eating
everything put before me. I’m trying not
to gain back the 40 pounds I lost while ill. Now while reading the newest Moosewood
cookbook, I try to keep thinking thin.
As I have always said, "George is a keeper!" Welcome back into the fold... so very good to see you here.
ReplyDeleteI have been gone from blogging for awhile and trying to get started again. Seems like you have been having some major challenges. Glad to read that you are home and getting stronger. And having a spouse that is "a keeper" is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteBeing home is wonderful. Baby steps. Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are back.
ReplyDeleteThin may be in, but fat is where it's at. 😀
ReplyDeleteSeriously, enjoy the paper and the hair and the food.
Oh a hair cut would be so fine, even if it weren't exactly what you wanted. So glad you got that treat. Sounds like you are settling back in nicely. Keep getting stronger. So happy you have George. What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteHome is good. It's where the real recovery and healing takes place after the doctors are done with us.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are home and having awesome George take care of you.
